Yorkshire Dales & Howgill Fells

The Howgill Fells lie just to the east of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, separated by the River Lune. Stunning views to both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are offered.

Cautley Spout, considered to be England’s highest waterfall with a drop of about 180 metres, is also found here.

Beyond the Howgill Fells is the wide expanse of the Eden Valley, which marks the boundary between the northern Dales and the Lake District to the west.
